An African distributor sought a rugged electric motorcycle tailored to local road conditions, climate, and usage patterns. Existing off-the-shelf models could not withstand rough terrain, high temperatures, and heavy daily loads typical of the region.
Requirements
Reinforced frame for heavy-load durability, optimized suspension for unpaved roads, climate-adapted battery system for sustained high-temperature operation, and a serviceable design enabling local maintenance with minimal tooling.
Delivery
Custom-designed GOII platform with a reinforced high-tensile steel frame, upgraded long-travel suspension tuned for African terrain, and a climate-adapted BMS battery system with enhanced thermal management. Full ODM delivery spanning industrial design, prototyping, testing, and mass production at our 12,000m² facility.
Results
10,000+ units successfully deployed across 3 African countries. The customized GOII platform demonstrated exceptional reliability in field conditions, achieving a low failure rate and high rider satisfaction. The partner established a leading market position in their region with ongoing repeat orders.
